About Mettâtations

Mettâtations integrate the following areas into simple but powerful practices specifically designed to actively and directly cultivate Positive Thoughs, Emotions, Energy, Virtues, and Actions. You can click on each of the foundations below to learn more about each and how it contributes to the complete Mettatations practice.
Each of the six foundations of Mettatations is beneficial on it's own, but when you combine one or more of these practices together you can really increase the power and long-term benefits of each. Our bodies, minds, heart, and spirit are all connected. Each practice alone focuses mostly on one aspect, but Mettatations brings all of them together to focus on the whole and the parts simultaneously. And quite amazingly, the integrated Mettatation practices can be easier to do when combined than when they are separate.
OVERVIEW: We do positive psychology to help increase our happiness and mental well-being. We meditate to have more peace and calmness in our minds and bodies. We breathe to live, and to heal, and to rejuvenate. We touch to connect and generate positive energy. We move to activate and keep our minds and bodies healthy. We do yoga to connect and turn inward and connect outward. We Mettatate to train and connect more to our minds, bodies, and spirits. We Mettatate to harness all of that power to generate more happiness, connection, peace, positive thoughts, and positive actions in our lives.
Research has shown that meditation, mindfulness, gratitude, all of the components of Mettatations, literally change your brain for the good. So practicing positive practices helps them to become habits which will lead to more positive effects. When you are cultivating Peace, Love, Compassion, Forgiveness, Gratitude, and Wisdom your are creating and building new positive neural pathways in your brain. This has significant long-term and far reaching positive effects on every part of your life.

Mettatations

You can improve and train your brain, and with Mettatations it's easy. Mettatations are simple, in just a minute or two you can practice a simple Mettatation and increase your positivity and well-being. All peace, happiness, joy, and love comes from within and Mettatations help you connect and generate these thoughts feelings and emotions so that you can turn them into positive actions.
You can have more peace and love in your life, and you can live a happier, healthier life. There are many tools and tactics you can use. Mettatations may be one of the easiest and most powerful practices you can do.

More About Mettâtations

Mettâtating is easy, and it can help train the mind so that one can become a better meditator. Meditation experts often talk about our 'Monkey Mind' that we are trying to control and train by tying it to a stake and leaving it alone and hoping that over time the monkey mind will be trained. Not very efficient or effective. Mettâtations, on the other hand, are like putting your monkey on a leash and taking him/her for a walk over and over again to actively and directly train our monkey mind. Actively training, focusing on positive thoughts and images, creates positive thoughts and actions. Love creates love. Peace creates peace. Compassion creates compassion. Mettatations become a type of 'Emotional Hygiene' that will have positive effects on every aspect of your life, including work and relationships.

One of the most important discoveries from Positive Psychology research is that 'it's not what happens to us, but how we think about what happened to us that is most important.' And that we can change and train our brain to become more positive. Another important discovery from the research is the need to take a break and refresh every 60 to 90 minutes during our work day. We are most effective when we balance work and rest. Mettatations can help you actively refresh your energy during your work day. They can help you find balance and relieve stress throughout your day. Mettatations are also a great way to end the day. The Foundations of Mettatations

Mettâtations are the integration of several practices into new healing, restorative, and energizing practices. To understand the practice fully, you can examine the individual and integration of the different components listed below. Mettatations are powerful and multi-faceted practices directly connecting the internal (mind, body, spirit), external (others/world), and universal; with the past, present, future.
