Mettâtations and Forgiveness.
Forgivenss = Freedom

The most important thing you will do today is to breathe. Air is literally energy that you are bringing into your body to live. It is your connection to all things. There is a miracle in every breath, and it's quite amazing when you think about it.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if you could just completely forgive someone instantly? Poof! To have all of the hurt, or anger, or resentment, all of the suffering just gone, forever, in one moment. Doesn't that sound like heaven? To free yourself of all of that negative energy.

The truth is that unless we forgive, we are the ones that are suffering. We are creating our own misery. The other person or people don't suffer if we are angry or hurt or disappointed. No, it's just us, and how long we suffer is up to us.

What happens too is that we can store this negative energy in our bodies. We all have things from our past that we have trapped in our minds and bodies. It is a negative energy that we don't need to carry around with us. And it is something we can get out of our body. We can remove it or we can replace it with something positive. Forgiving feels good, Compassion feels good. Peace, Love, Compassion, Gratitude, these all feel good. And they add to our happiness and well-being.

Mettâtations can help you forgive. They can help you let go of some of your baggage and be lighter. There are so many things that happened that you can't change. The only thing you can do now, is to change yourself and how you think about them, and to learn to let them go. If you are holding onto something negative your hands, your heart aren't free to hold onto something good or something new that will be of a positive benefit to you. The choice is yours. Forgive and be free.

Forgiveness is one of the key components of the core of each Mettatation. Compassion and Forgiveness go hand and hand because part of forgiving is to have compassion for others and their suffering. The world is bigger than our world and we only know a small fraction of what is going on with any other person. We can also learn to be grateful for every person. We often learn lessons from hard/difficult situations. We can be grateful for the opportunity to grow and learn from every experience.

Air is literally energy. We take the breathe, the air for granted. The air we breathe holds the energy of the universe. We can bless the air we breathe and use it to heal and rejuvenate our body and mind.

Touching is essential for normal human development. Yet, in many cultures we don't touch. Unfortunately, touch, like love, can be misunderstood and make people uncomfortable. Yet it is an extremely powerful energy source that we can use to heal and energize our body and mind.
